Election turmoil in Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party accuses BJP of attack

Election 2025 activities are at their peak in Delhi and meanwhile Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has made serious allegations against BJP. AAP says that the campaign vehicle of their national convenor Arvind Kejriwal was attacked. This incident happened near Valmiki temple, when AAP’s campaign vehicle reached there. The party alleges that some people suddenly attacked the vehicle and vandalized it.

Increasing conflict between AAP and BJP

AAP spokesperson Priyanka Kakkar has blamed BJP for this incident. She said that earlier on January 18, Arvind Kejriwal was allegedly pelted with stones, and now his campaign vehicle was targeted. Priyanka Kakkar alleged that the morale of BJP supporters has become so high that they have now openly resorted to violence against AAP. She also questioned the Election Commission and said that BJP is doing whatever it wants in Delhi and the Election Commission is sitting silent.

Police statement

The DCP of New Delhi issued a statement on X (formerly Twitter) stating that no official PCR call or complaint has been lodged in this matter so far. The police have appealed to AAP to give a formal complaint and assured fair legal action.

Anger of Valmiki Samaj

During this incident, some members of Valmiki Samaj and Dalit Panchayat protested against Arvind Kejriwal. The protesters allege that the Aam Aadmi Party used their community only as a vote bank and did not fulfill the promises made. Maharashtra Valmiki Samaj President Ashu Pohal said that our society has been looted by false promises. He also said that Arvind Kejriwal should be held responsible for the rising pollution and other problems in Delhi.

Kejriwal’s response

Arvind Kejriwal reacted strongly to the whole matter and directly attacked the BJP. He shared a video on X and said that the whole world is watching this election, but Amit Shah’s actions have shamed the country. Kejriwal also targeted the Election Commission and said that in Ramayana, Kumbhakaran used to sleep for six months and stay awake for six months, but the Election Commission probably does not stay awake at all.

Election atmosphere heats up

As the elections in Delhi are coming closer, the tension between political parties is increasing. This conflict between AAP and BJP is now coming out in the open. Now it has to be seen what action the Election Commission and the police take in this matter and whether this issue will affect the election results.
