These leaders voted : Voting for the Delhi Assembly Elections 2025 is being held at all polling stations from 7 am on Wednesday. There is a lot of enthusiasm of the voters. In many places, voters queued up outside the polling station even before 7 p.m.

Celebrities arrive to cast their votes

Prominent veteran leaders are exercising their franchise in the Delhi elections. President Draupadi Murmu, Delhi Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena, Congress MP Rahul Gandhi and Delhi Chief Minister Atishi reached the polling booth and cast their votes. The leaders have also appealed to the people to cast their votes during this period.

For the Delhi Assembly elections 2025, New Delhi President Draupadi Murmu Dr. Rajendra Prasad voted in Kendriya Vidyalaya. Long queues have been seen at many polling stations in the capital since morning.

Under the leadership of PM Modi, a government will be formed in Delhi which will bring all major schemes including cleaning of Yamuna river, Ayushman scheme, employment to the national capital.

Chief Election Commissioner Rajeev Kumar cast his vote at a polling booth in New Moti Bagh for the Delhi elections. After this, he said that everyone has worked very hard together. Today, more than 1.5 lakh people are contesting elections. No one should stay at home without voting – everyone should cast their vote.

Rajya Sabha member Swati Maliwal cast her vote and said, I voted for the development of Delhi and the country.

Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri came out to cast his vote at Anand Niketan polling booth in Moti Bagh in south Delhi.

After the voting, the Union Minister said that everyone should participate in the festival of democracy and motivate their families and relatives to cast their votes as well.

Lines in Muslim-dominated areas

Especially in Muslim-dominated areas, people are participating in voting on a large scale. Voting is being held at 13766 polling stations at 2696 locations in Delhi. So far, there have been no complaints of malfunction from any polling station and no incident has occurred from anywhere so far.

Voting is taking place amid tight security

The polling is going on peacefully. A large number of security forces have been deployed. The Chief Executive Officer of Delhi, R. Ellis Vaz, reached the polling station built in the College of Art in Tilak Marg and cast his vote and appealed to the people of Delhi to reach the polling station with maximum number and votes.

The fate of 699 candidates will be decided

There are one crore 56 lakh 14 thousand voters in Delhi. Voters who will stand in queue to reach the polling station by 6:00 pm will be able to vote.

After this, the fate of all 699 candidates, including BJP, Aam Aadmi Party, Congress candidates, who are contesting elections in Delhi’s Dangal, will be imprisoned.
