The Government of India provides ration and free ration at low cost to these people under the National Food Security Act. By showing the ration card, these people can take advantage of this government scheme. But now very soon many people will stop taking rations. It is important for these people to do this work before this date. I’ll tell you about it.

It is necessary to do e-KYC

All ration card holders in India. All of them have been informed by the food department that they have to get their ration card KYC again. But despite this, many ration card holders have not yet completed the e-KYC process. Not only this, even after repeated extensions of the deadline, lakhs of ration card holders are still pending e-KYC. If these ration card holders do not do this, the e-KYC process is completed. Therefore, they will be stopped rationing soon.

Last date of 31st March

According to information received from the Department of Food and Public Distribution, all ration card holders were given a deadline of December 31 to get e-KYC done. But despite this, many people did not get e-KYC done. In such a situation, this deadline has now been extended again to March 31. That is, those who have not done e-KYC of ration card till March 31.

From then on, the ration they get on the ration card will be stopped. To re-activate this facility, these people will have to go back to the nearest food supply department and recomplete the paperwork and complete the e-KYC process.
