A new SUV has been introduced by the South Korean car manufacturer company Kia, At the Global Auto Expo in 2018. According to reports, the company can launch the new 4th Gen Sorento in the Indian market. Today, we are giving you information about the features of this new SUV.
Exterior Looks and Design: It has been given Kia’s signature Tiger Nose Grill, Which comes with 3-pod LED headlights. Along with this, it also has DRLs. It gets 19-inch tires. Apart from this, an attempt has been made to keep the tailgate quite sharp. However, LED tail lamps are also available in the SUV at the rear.
Safety and Features: A lot of attention has been paid to its interior premiumness. The car has a 10.25-inch touchscreen display which supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, The design of AC vents is found vertical in shape, A 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, 64 colors of ambient lighting, panoramic sunroof, 360 degree camera, 12 speakers of Bose and safety features like ABS, EBD, 6-airbags and ADAS are provided in this 4-wheeler.
Height, Length and Width: The SUV is 4810 mm long, 1900 mm wide and 1700 mm high. Its wheelbase is 2814 mm, Which makes it clear that Sorento will be positioned above the existing mid-size SUV Seltos.
The Seltos comes with a length of 4315 mm, width of 1800 mm, height of 1620 mm and a wheelbase of 2610 mm. Whereas the new SUV is bigger, taller and wider than the Seltos.
In the Sorento that is offered globally, the company gives two engine options. One option is a 2.2 liter diesel engine and the other option is a 1.6 liter petrol engine. Along with a petrol engine, the SUV also has the option of a 1.5KWH battery. With a diesel engine, the SUV can generate 202 BHP of power and with a hybrid engine, the SUV can generate 230 BHP of power.
However, no official information about this SUV has been given by the company. But according to reports, if Sorento is introduced in the Indian market, we can expect the ex-showroom price of the SUV could be around Rs 25-30 lakh.
