
Tata Punch is the best selling car in India Currently, Seeing the huge demand for the SUV, The company is preparing to bring the facelift version of the Punch.
Tata Punch made its debut in October 2021 and currently is available in petrol, CNG and electric powertrain options.
Engine and Power:
The Punch facelift will be powered by a 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine. It will be offered with a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed automatic gearbox option. Its petrol engine will generate 84 bhp of power and 118 nm of torque. The CNG engine will generate 69 bhp of power and 102 nm of torque. However, there will only a manual gearbox offered with the CNG variant.
Exterior and Design:
The new Tata Punch design will be largely inspired by the Punch EV. The SUV will get a split headlight design like the current model, but its styling will be slightly better. It can get all-LED lighting, connected LED DRL, front bumper with air dam, tweaked front grille. This SUV is expected to get 16-inch alloy wheels also.
Slide into its interior:
Here, The updated Punch will get two 10.25-inch screens, one of which will be a 10.25-inch infotainment system and the other will be a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster. Currently, the current model of the Punch comes with a 7-inch touchscreen system and front ventilated seats. The steering wheel has been seen in the testing model of the Punch, just like the current model. But the new Punch will come with a new two-spoke steering wheel.
What about safety?
Well, it’s Tata, and tata is known for its safety and durability features. However, due to the new norms issued by the Government of India recently, it is mandatory for all the cars to give minimum 6 airbags and basic safety features in the car as standard. So, according to safety point of view it’ll get features like parking camera, reverse parking sensor, 360 degree camera, 6 airbags, tyre pressure monitor, electronic stability program(ESP) and rain sensing wipers.
What about price of this new facelift version of Tata Punch?
However, the company has not revealed anything about the new Tata Punch Facelift but, according to some media reports and leaks it is being mentioned that this SUV introduces by the company by the end of 2025 at the introductory price of Rs 9.69 lakhs and goes upto Rs 18.91 lakhs for its top end variant.
