OnePlus Ace 5 Racing Edition is going to have a big 7,100mAh battery with Dimensity 9400+/9400e

The Ace 5 series from OnePlus will debut in China today, May 27. But Li Jie, the company’s president of China, verified the battery specs of two key products right before the event. It is evident that the company will focus on battery performance and capacity this time. Ace 5 Racing Edition may be of particular interest to you if you are a heavy user or gamer.

The company claims that the OnePlus Ace 5 Racing Edition will have a large 7,100mAh battery, larger than the Ace 5’s 6,415mAh battery and more powerful than smaller flagships like the OnePlus 13T (6,260mAh battery). Speaking of the Ace 5 Ultra, the battery’s capacity is 6,700mAh.

There is more to Racing Edition than just the battery. Leaked sources state that the phone will run MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400e chipset and feature a 6.77-inch FHD+ display. In terms of capacity, it can be configured with up to 512GB of internal storage and 16GB of RAM. A 50MP primary rear camera, a 2MP secondary lens, and a 16MP front camera can all be found in the camera area.

But the OnePlus Ace 5 Ultra appears to be a little more expensive. A 6.83-inch display with 2800×1272 resolution and a refresh rate of 144 Hz is possible. The phone will have a Dimensity 9400+ chip installed. Variants may come with up to 1TB of internal storage and 16GB of RAM. The camera has a 50MP+8MP back and a 16MP front.

The distinctive feature is that there are rumors that the OnePlus Ace 5 Ultra or Racing Edition handset, which comes with features such a 7,000mAh battery and a Dimensity 9400e, may soon be rebranded as the Nord 5 in the global market.
