Rahul Gandhi entered the Valmiki temple and after that he went to the Dalit’s settlement and communicated with the women there

Rahul Gandhi updates : The political atmosphere has heated up over the Delhi assembly elections and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is now engaged in election campaigning in Delhi. Rahul Gandhi addressed election rallies in Patparganj and Okhla on Tuesday (January 28). Before these rallies, he visited the Valmiki temple in Delhi where he prayed. During this, Rahul Gandhi offered prayers at the temple and reiterated his commitment to the underprivileged sections.
After leaving the Valmiki temple, Rahul Gandhi reached the New Delhi Assembly constituency where he met the women in the Dalit basti and discussed their issues. The move is being seen as an attempt by Rahul Gandhi to do politics at the grassroots level as he is trying to connect directly with the people even before joining the election field. Their dialogue is considered important for spreading awareness about the rights of the Dalit community and their challenges.
Tough contest in Patparganj seat
This time the electoral battle in Patparganj seat is looking very interesting, where there is going to be a fierce fight between the Congress, Aam Aadmi Party and the Bharatiya Janata Party. The Congress has fielded its senior leader Anil Chaudhary from this seat, who will contest against Aam Aadmi Party candidate Awadh Ojha and BJP candidate Ravindra Singh Negi.
The seat is seeing a tough contest as Aam Aadmi Party leader and former Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi Manish Sisodia had won three times in the 2020 assembly elections, but this time he has been given a ticket from Jangipura seat, making it an even more interesting contest in Patparganj seat.
The Aam Aadmi Party had won a historic victory in 2020
This time in Delhi, voting will be held on February 5 in a total of 70 assembly seats in one phase and counting will take place on February 8. In 2020, the Aam Aadmi Party had registered a historic victory in 62 seats, while the BJP had to settle for only 8 seats and the Congress did not get any seats. This time too, all the major parties are busy putting their full strength because the results of these seats are being considered very important in Delhi politics. In such a situation, the competition to be held in Patparganj seat can prove to be one of the important battles of this election.
