OnePlus Rolls Out OxygenOS V80P00 Update with New Features

OnePlus OxygenOS Update: OnePlus has officially begun rolling out the new OxygenOS V80P00 update to a large variety of its smartphones and tablets. Although the update was made available on May 28, 2025, users can anticipate it reaching all supported devices by June 28. This update is centred around enhancing overall system performance while adding useful additions to native apps such as Notes, File Manager, Phone Manager, and Private Safe.
Richer Note-Taking Experience
The Notes app is now more useful for users on OxygenOS 14 and later. Rich text formatting is also supported in tables, allowing for the use of bold and italic text. And users are able to drag and reorder audio or video files within their notes. Sharing also becomes easier now, media from Camera, Photos, or My Files can be added directly into a note, so the app is much more dynamic for multimedia documentation.
File Access Gets Smarter with Widget Support
File Manager in File Access now has a new “My Files” widget for users of OxygenOS 15 and later. This feature allows users to tag their files and have easy access to them on the home screen. It’s a convenient one that makes everyday workflow easier and minimizes steps to access frequently used files.
Phone Manager Becomes More Intuitive
There is a new feature included called “Recommended to uninstall” under the Phone Manager app. It assists users in cleaning up their storage by showing them apps that have not been used for a very long time. For its usage, users can go to Phone Manager → Clean Up Storage → Apps → Uninstall. The easy-to-follow guide makes it possible for even ordinary users to utilize the feature quite easily.
Private Safe Now Encrypts Large Files
OxygenOS 14 and later also provide enhanced privacy features in the Private Safe app. One of the standout features is being able to search for individual files inside the safe. Additionally, it also supports the encryption of individual files up to 20GB, a major improvement for users handling huge media or documents. Decrypted images and videos are also displayed with enhancements for a better viewing experience, though this will vary with device hardware.
Complete List of Supported Devices
The update covers various device generations. OxygenOS 14 and 15 support phones such as OnePlus Open, 13, 12, 11, and 10 series, and the Nord 4, CE4, and Nord 3. Tablets such as OnePlus Pad and Pad 2 are supported as well. Support for OxygenOS 14 is limited to the OnePlus 9 series, 8T, Nord 2T, and CE2 Lite phones. Older releases such as OxygenOS 13 and 13.1 support the OnePlus 8 lineup and some Nord phones.
Update Rollout and Compatibility Notes
As the OxygenOS V80P00 update is rolled out incrementally, users can manually verify if it hasn’t been pushed to their device automatically. Note that not all features might be present on all devices because of varying hardware and software configurations.
