PM Kisan Yojana- The central government is running many schemes for farmers, women and daughters at this time. Under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, eligible farmers are given financial assistance of Rs 6,000 annually. The government sends it to the accounts of farmers in three installments through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT). So far 19 installments of the scheme have been released.
When will the 20th installment of PM Kisan release?
The 19th instalment of the PM Kisan Yojana was released in February 2025. There is a gap of three months between each installment. This means that the next i.e. 20th installment can be released in the month of June. However, no official date has been fixed by the government yet. But on the basis of the previous installment, it is expected that the money can be transferred in the month of June
The central government has clarified that it is mandatory for every farmer to complete e-KYC; if any farmer does not get e-KYC done, then he will not get the instalment money.
According to the guidelines issued on the official website of the scheme, farmers can do OTP based e-KYC on pmkisan.gov.in portal. If you do not have online facility, then you can get biometric KYC done by visiting the nearest CSC center.
How to do e-KYC?
• Go to www.pmkisan.gov.in.
• Click on the ‘Know your status’ option on the right.
• Enter the registration number and captcha.
• On clicking ‘Get data’, the status will appear on the screen.
Eligibility for PM Kisan
• The applicant must be an Indian citizen.
• He must have cultivable land.
• Only small and marginal farmers are eligible.
• People receiving government or pension are not eligible for this scheme.
