New Delhi: Wednesday was not a good day in Delhi NCR and its surrounding areas. Due to rain accompanied by thunderstorm, trees and poles fell at many places. Due to which traffic was disrupted on a large scale. In Muzaffarnagar, Saharanpur, Bijnor and Moradabad of western Uttar Pradesh, the thunderstorm damaged the trees and on the other hand, it gave relief to the people from the scorching heat.
In many areas of Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan, the storm made life difficult for the people. Now the monsoon is progressing rapidly. It is believed that by 27 to 28 May, the monsoon will comfortably enter Kerala. The Indian Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rains in many areas of the country.
Rain alert in these states
The Meteorological Department has issued a warning of rain accompanied by thunderstorms in many states of South India. There is a possibility of heavy rains accompanied by thunderstorms in Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Goa. Along with this, there is a possibility of seeing the havoc of rain in Telangana, Maharashtra and Andhra Pradesh as well. Heavy rains are also expected in the northeastern states.
In these, an alert has been issued for heavy rains in Manipur, Sikkim and Nagaland. Rain warnings have also been issued in Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Tripura and Puducherry. There is a possibility of thunderstorms and storms in all these parts. Due to this, a drop in temperature can be seen.
Rain alert in Madhya Pradesh
According to the IMD, there is a possibility of heavy rains in many areas of Madhya Pradesh. The IMD has issued an alert for heavy rains and thunderstorms in Bhopal, Indore, Ujjain, Gwalior, Jabalpur, Sheopur, Morena and Bhind. Apart from these, warnings have also been issued for rain in Datia, Shivpuri, Guna, Ashoknagar and Vidisha.
Along with these, there is a possibility of heavy rains in Hiraysen, Narsinghpur, Chhindwara, Pandhurna, Seoni, Mandla, Balaghat and Dindori. A warning has been issued for heavy rains in Anuppur, Shahdol, Umaria, Katni, Panna, Satna, Rewa, Mauganj and Sidhi.
There will be severe heat here
According to the Meteorological Department, severe heat can be seen in the coming days in UP-Bihar, Rajasthan, Punjab. In Rajasthan, scorching heat can be seen. A warning has been issued for above normal temperatures in UP and Delhi NCR.
