Monsoon Alert: The weather is terrible in most parts of India, resulting in heavy rainfall in many areas. The monsoon is also moving forward rapidly, which will soon be accompanied by rains in West Bengal and Bihar. The country’s capital, Delhi, and the surrounding areas have been experiencing strong sunshine since morning.
The sky is also cloudy in some areas, which may lead to rain. In many regions of South India, it is raining with thunder, making the situation critical. Due to waterlogging in many areas of Kerala, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh, pedestrians are also facing problems. The Indian Meteorological Department has issued a warning of heavy rain in many areas of the country.
Rain alert in these districts of UP
According to IMD, heavy rains are expected to occur in Prayagraj, Pratapgarh, Sonbhadra, Mirzapur, Chandauli, Varanasi, and Sant Ravidas Nagar. A rain alert has been issued in Jaunpur, Ghazipur, Azamgarh, Mau, Ballia, Deoria, Gorakhpur, Sant Kabir Nagar, Basti and Kushinagar.
Apart from these, heavy rain is expected in Maharajganj, Siddharthnagar, Gonda, Balrampur, Shravasti, Bahraich, Lakhimpur Kheri and Sitapur. A heavy rain alert has been issued in Hardoi, Lucknow, Barabanki, Amethi, Sultanpur, Ayodhya, Ambedkarnagar, and Saharanpur.
Heavy rain may also occur in Shamli, Muzaffarnagar, Baghpat, Meerut, Ghaziabad, Hapur, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Bulandshahr, Bijnor and Amroha. The weather department has issued a warning in Moradabad, Rampur, Bareilly, Pilibhit, Shahjahanpur, Sambhal, and Badaun.
There is a rain alert in these states as well.
According to the Meteorological Department, a warning of heavy rain has been issued in Sikkim, Manipur and Puducherry. Apart from these, a heavy rain alert has also been issued in Tripura, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, and Mizoram. Heavy rain is expected in many areas of Kerala, Karnataka, and Tamil Nadu. A rain warning has also been issued in Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra and Telangana.
