According to IMD, monsoon has entered Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Goa and Maharashtra. The monsoon has also entered Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Arunachal Pradesh. The monsoon has reached Tripura, Assam, Meghalaya, Odisha, and Chhattisgarh. A rain alert has also been issued in all these states.
The possibility of heavy rain in these states
According to IMD, heavy rain is expected in many areas in the next 254 hours. There may be rain in Cachar, Hailakandi, Sribhumi, Dhubri, South Salmara, Goalpara, Barpeta and Bongaigaon. Apart from these, heavy rain is expected in West Karbi Anglong, Kokrajhar, Chirang, Bajali, Baksa, Tamulpur, Nalbari, Kamrup (Metro), Kamrup and Darang. At the same time, it is expected in Udalguri, Marigaon, Nagaon, Hojai, and Sonitpur.
Possibility of rain in Madhya Pradesh too
The weather department has predicted rain in all districts, including the capital of Madhya Pradesh. Heavy rain is expected in Bhopal, Gwalior, Jabalpur, Rajgarh, Shajapur, Dewas, Harda, Betul, Narmadapuram, Raisen, Vidisha. Heavy rain with thunder is expected here.
