Delhi Police Launches QR Code: The Delhi Police on Monday launched a QR code to provide detailed information to police officials and the general public about polling and counting instructions in the wake of the assembly elections.
QR codes will be prominently displayed at various advertising materials, selfie-point stands and polling stations while ensuring wider access.

Scanning the QR code from the smartphone will direct users to a webpage with detailed instructions for the election process. It is currently available on the Delhi Police website.
According to the nodal officer of the election cell and special commissioner crime branch Devesh Chandra Srivastava, it was launched at the police headquarters under the leadership of joint police commissioner Vijay Kumar (elections) and deputy commissioner of police (elections) Ram Dulesh Meena on the direction of police commissioner Sanjay Arora. Earlier these instructions were provided through handbook or stated during briefing.
