Ignoring the rules : Campaigning for the Delhi Assembly elections came to a halt in the national capital on Monday evening. Now the Delhi Police and security agencies are gearing up for peaceful polling on February 5. Meanwhile, the Delhi Police on Wednesday issued a warning to those who reel on social media at polling stations during the assembly elections.

Addressing a press conference at Delhi Police headquarters on Monday (February 3), Special Commissioner of Police (Law and Order Sector 2) Madhup Tiwari said, “”Legal action will be taken against anyone who violates this rule.

Mobile phones are not allowed

“Special Commissioner for Police Law and Order Madhup Tiwari said, “”The Election Commission has strict guidelines that mobile phones are not allowed inside polling stations.” This message will also be given at every polling station through publicity media.

Reel makers stay away from the polling station

Madhup Tiwari said the aim is to prevent disruption during polling. Also, the integrity of the election process has to be maintained. Police have urged voters to follow guidelines and abstain from any activity that compromises safety or order at polling stations.

He said the police would also keep an eye on social media platforms. To find out that no one is posting photos or videos from inside the polling stations.On February 5, 2025 Delhi Assembly Elections will be held . On February 8, 2025 Counting of votes will take place .

70 seats in the Delhi Assembly will be held tomorrow. The Election Commission, Delhi Police and other security agencies are in full swing to organise the polling.
