Sandeep Kumar join BJP: A few hours before the polling, the Aam Aadmi Party has suffered a major setback. The party’s district vice-president Sandeep Kumar on Monday joined the BJP in the presence of BJP candidate Satish Upadhyay from Malviya Nagar. On this occasion, many AAP workers also joined the BJP.

Also, amid the campaign for the Delhi Assembly elections in the last few days, eight MLAs had resigned from the primary membership of the Aam Aadmi Party, alleging corruption and dictatorship. The legislators also questioned the honest politics of the party’s national convener Arvind Kejriwal.

Kejriwal was described as a dictator in the letter

In a letter to Kejriwal, these MLAs said that the party formed to remove corruption is itself stuck in the quagmire of corruption. Bhavna Gaur from Palam, BS June from Bijwasan, Pawan Sharma from Adarsh Nagar, Madanlal from Kasturba Nagar, Rajesh Rishi from Janakpuri, Rohit Mehraulia from Trilokpuri, Girish Soni from Madipur and Naresh Yadav from Mehrauli have resigned.

This time, the party has cut the tickets of these MLAs. Assembly elections in Delhi will be held on Feb 5. In separate letters written to Kejriwal, most of the MLAs have alleged corruption in the party. Naresh Yadav said in the letter that Aam Aadmi Party had emerged from the Anna movement against corruption, but now I am very sad. Because you are completely trapped in the mire of corruption.

Yadav has written this letter

Yadav said that I had joined the party only for the politics of honesty, but today honesty is not seen anywhere. I have worked consistently 100 percent honestly in the last 10 years in Mehrauli Assembly constituency. He wrote in the letter that he had discussions with the people of Mehrauli. He was of the opinion that the Aam Aadmi Party was now completely involved in corruption, so he should leave the party.

In a letter sent to Kejriwal, Janakpuri MLA Rajesh Rishi said the Aam Aadmi Party, which Kejriwal had formed to make Delhi corruption-free, which was born out of the Anna movement, has now become a corrupt party. You have distanced yourself from corruption-free governance. The party has betrayed Anna’s principles.
