The Election Commission has announced the dates for the January 7 assembly elections in Delhi. The 70 assembly seats in Delhi will go to polls on February 5, 2025. Counting will be held on February 8, 2025 and at the same time it will be decided who will form the next government in Delhi.

The leaders of Valmiki Chaupal joined AAP

Valmiki Choupal president Uday Gill and others joined the AAP on Tuesday. AAP national convener Arvind Kejriwal welcomed him by wearing a cap and a patka. During this time, Kejriwal had said that Uday Gill is working for the upliftment of the underprivileged across Delhi through his organisation Valmiki Chaupal. His arrival will also benefit other assembly constituencies, including New Delhi. Gill worked in NDMC for 40 years and retired a few days ago.

Former MLA who joined AAP

Earlier, Amrish Singh Gautam, a three-time MLA from Kondli Assembly, joined the Aam Aadmi Party along with his two sons and the entire team on January 27. MP Sanjay Singh inducted him into the party after wearing a hat at the party headquarters. During this time, Sanjay Singh had said that Amrish Singh Gautam had a long political life. He has given his services while working in all positions. MLA Kuldeep Kumar had said that with the arrival of Amrish Singh Gautam, our Kondli Assembly will be strengthened.
