10 Km Long Elevated Flyover Will Be Built On Ballabhgarh-Sohna Road In Faridabad, Now You Will Get Rid Of Traffic

Faridabad Elevated Flyover: Commuters are going to get relief from the traffic jam on the Ballabhgarh-Sohna road in Faridabad. It has been decided to build a 10-kilometre-long elevated flyover on this road. The proposal has also been sent to the government for approval. After the government’s approval in the next 3 days, work on the project will start soon. A DPR will also be prepared by appointing an agency for the project.

Responsibility given to Gurugram PWD

The responsibility of construction of the elevated flyover has been given to Gurugram PWD. There is a possibility that, with the construction of this flyover, 50 thousand passengers will not have to face the problem of traffic. In the last few years, 12 new colonies have been developed on the Ballabhgarh-Sohna road. Apart from this, the movement of vehicles is also seen more in this region. Due to which there is a long traffic jam here in the morning and evening. In such a situation, it takes people 1 hour to cover a distance of 5 minutes. After the construction of the flyover, the traffic problem on the roads will be reduced.

19 metre long service road will also be built

Toll is collected on Ballabhgarh-Sohna road on behalf of Gurugram PWD department. Earlier, the responsibility of construction of the elevated flyover was handed over to the Faridabad PWD, but due to the toll, the work has now been given to the authorities in Gurugram. The Ballabhgarh-Sohna road is 30 kilometres long. The flyover will be removed from above by pillars and guards standing on the road.

This flyover will be red light free. Due to which motorists will not have to stop anywhere and there will be no pollution. After the construction of the flyover, a 19-metre service road will also be built under it. Grills will be installed on DND and KMP lines on both sides of the road. Charanjit Rana, an official of the Gurugram PWD department, said that on the basis of the survey, an advisory agency will be appointed to prepare the DPR and the proposal has been sent to the govt. for approval.
