At the same time, AAP candidate Surendra Bhardwaj is telling the public about the work done by his wife Poonam Bhardwaj in the area. The seat is also in the limelight due to the ongoing litigation and videos of candidates campaigning on the internet media.

Equation of the voters of Bijwasan

Talking about this assembly constituency, on one side there are five-star hotels in the aerocity and on the other side there are slum areas like Rangpuri. The number of votes of the middle class here is still good. There are 11 villages in the assembly constituency, out of which eight villages belong to the Jat community.

There are a large number of Jat, Yadav, Brahmin and Scheduled Caste voters in this seat. Some areas of Dwarka are included in this assembly constituency, but this seat is mainly known for Rajnagar, Bijwasan and Mahipalpur.

Indira Gandhi Airport is situated along with five municipal wards in the region. Due to which the plane is seen hovering in the sky for 24 hours here. Sometimes they pass so low that candidates have to stop their speeches for some time due to the noise.

Bijwasan assembly is surrounded by problems

There are a lot of problems in this seat with two lakh 10 thousand voters. The problem of drinking water here has been going on for a long time, so villagers raise the issue of fair compensation for their land.

Talking about the water problem, legislators of all parties have come here, but this problem has not been solved yet. However, everyone has claimed to solve this problem.

In this election too, the issue of drinking water and sewer problem is heating up. After the statement of LG VK Saxena, who came to see the problem of people on Rangpuri hill a few months ago, politics heated up over the sewer problem in this area.

On 2020, AAP’s BS June won the elections from here. It is even being said that his ticket was cut over the Rangpur hill issue. This time AAP has cut its ticket and given the ticket to Surendra Bhardwaj, husband of councillor Poonam Bhardwaj from Bijwasan.
