What did PM Modi say?
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday said that the Union Budget has filled the pockets of every family with happiness and is the most favourable middle class budget in the history of the country. Addressing a public meeting ahead of the Delhi assembly elections, PM Modi mentioned various beneficial provisions made in the budget for the middle class and claimed that people with income up to Rs 12 lakh have never received such relief since India’s independence.
