AAP Manifesto : Aam Aadmi Party has released its manifesto for Delhi Assembly elections today. AAP chief and former CM Arvind Kejriwal released the manifesto at 12 noon. Arvind Kejriwal said in his address that Kejriwal has a solid guarantee. BJP’s announcements are jumlas. Kejriwal has released 15 guarantees. It has been called ‘Kejriwal’s guarantee’. The first guarantee is of employment. The second guarantee is Mahila Samman Yojana. Women will get Rs 2100 per month. The third guarantee is Sanjeevani Yojana. There is a guarantee of treatment for people above 60 years of age. The fourth guarantee is the guarantee of correction of wrong water bills. There will be no need to pay wrong bills, all bills will be waived. AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal promised free bus travel for students and 50 percent discount in metro fares if he comes to power. Voting is to be held in Delhi on February 5. Election results will come on February 8.
What are Kejriwal’s 15 guarantees?
- Kejriwal guaranteed employment for the youth of Delhi.
- Under the Mahila Samman Yojana, every woman is guaranteed to get Rs 2100 deposited in her bank account every month.
- Under the Sanjeevani Yojana, treatment of elderly people above 60 years of age is guaranteed. The Delhi government will bear the entire cost of treatment.
- Arvind Kejriwal has guaranteed to waive off wrong water bills.
- 24-hour supply of clean water is guaranteed.
- Cleaning of Yamuna is guaranteed.
- Delhi roads are guaranteed to be built according to European standards.
- Under the Dr. Ambedkar Scholarship Scheme, admission of children of Dalit community in foreign universities is guaranteed.
- Students are guaranteed free bus service and 50% discount in Delhi Metro fares.
- Under the Pujari and Granthi Yojana, an honorarium of Rs 18,000 is guaranteed every month.
- Tenants will also get the benefit of electricity and water bills.
- Sewers are blocked at many places. Guarantee to fix it within 15 days of government formation.
- Ration cards will be opened, so that the poor can get benefits.
- AAP government will help auto, taxi and e-rickshaw drivers with Rs 1 lakh for their daughter’s marriage. Will give life insurance of Rs 10 lakh and health insurance of Rs 5 lakh.
