Ajay Maken challenges Arvind Kejriwal for a debate, know what allegations have been levelled against Kejriwal

Ajay Maken challenges Arvind Kejriwal to debate: Arvind Kejriwal has again attacked senior Congress leader Ajay Maken. Maken has once again termed Kejriwal as anti-national. Ajay Maken said this while raising serious questions on the health model of the Aam Aadmi Party government. He alleged that the Kejriwal government has cheated Rs 382 crore in the construction of three hospitals started during the Congress government. Maken has also challenged Arvind Kejriwal for a direct debate in this matter.
Citing the alleged CAG report, Ajay Maken claimed that the construction of Indira Gandhi Hospital was delayed by five years and was Rs 314 crore more than the amount stipulated in the tender. Similarly, the construction of Burari Hospital was delayed by six years and cost Rs 41 crore more. The construction of Maulana Azad Dental Hospital was also delayed by three years, increasing the cost by Rs 26 crore.
‘Can’t even use funds during corona’
“Ajay Maken said, “”Despite the lack of beds and other facilities in the hospital, the funds provided by the AAP government were not even utilised.” Out of the Rs 635 crore received from the central government at the time of Corona, Rs 360 crore was not spent. The government announced the construction of 32,000 beds in the four-year budget between 2016-17 and 2020-21, but only 1235 beds were actually built. On the other hand, the CAG report said that two patients are being treated on one bed in hospitals in the capital. Ajay Maken claimed that out of 27 hospitals, 14 do not have ICU facility, 16 do not have blood bank facility, 12 do not have ambulance facility. The government ambulance service did not have the necessary equipment.
This is a case of criminal negligence.
Maken says there is a severe shortage of specialised doctors and nurses in government hospitals. Apart from corruption, this case is also a case of criminal negligence. The CAG report revealing the corruption of the Delhi government is not being presented in the Assembly, while at one time Arvind Kejriwal used to accuse the Congress of corruption on the basis of the CAG report. The Congress has announced that more revelations about the Aam Aadmi Party government will be made in the coming days under the ‘AAP Ke Pap’ campaign based on the CAG report.
