Another candidate left AAP, wrote a letter to Kejriwal, know what effect it is having on the AAP

Another candidate leaves AAP: Friday was a shocking day for the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). Since morning, one MLA after another has written a letter to Kejriwal and announced his resignation from the party. In the same sequence, the 8th MLA also joined the group at 10 pm. Aam Aadmi Party MLA from Madipur seat Girish Soni has also announced to quit the party.

Expressing my heartfelt gratitude to the people of my Madipur Assembly for my successful political tenure, I am resigning from my constitutional post, but I promise to all the people of my region that I will always be at your service.

Allegations of falling into the mire of corruption

Earlier, seven MLAs had resigned from the primary membership of the Aam Aadmi Party, alleging corruption and dictatorship. The MLAs had also raised questions on the honest politics of Arvind Kejriwal. In a letter to the party’s national convener Arvind Kejriwal, the MLAs said that the party formed to remove corruption is itself trapped in corruption.

Tickets of all MLAs were cut off

Bhavna Gaur from Palam, BS June from Bijwasan, Pawan Sharma from Adarsh Nagar, Madanlal from Kasturba Nagar, Rajesh Rishi from Janakpuri, Rohit Mehraulia from Trilokpuri and Naresh Yadav from Mehrauli had resigned. The Aam Aadmi Party had cut the tickets of these seven MLAs in this assembly election. These MLAs have written separate letters to Kejriwal, most of whom have alleged corruption in the Aam Aadmi Party. In a letter to AAP convener Kejriwal, Naresh Yadav had levelled serious allegations about quitting the party.

Some MLAs dissatisfied with not getting tickets

On the resignation of eight MLAs, the AAP said the Aam Aadmi Party is a widely favoured party, with many qualified and well-educated candidates aspiring for the ticket. AAP has said that this time some MLAs were not given tickets, which caused dissatisfaction among them.

AAP has said that those who have not got tickets this time, BJP members have been continuously contacting AAP MLAs for some time. The AAP has said that Kejriwal’s true soldiers will stand with him till his last breath, as he has not come into politics for posts like MLA, councillor or minister.
