BJP of disrupting the water supply: Delhi Chief Minister Atishi has levelled a big allegation against the BJP in the midst of assembly elections. He has accused the BJP of disrupting the water supply in Delhi. He said that the BJP government in Haryana is deliberately putting factory pollution in Yamuna, due to which the amount of ammonia in Yamuna has increased. Three major treatment plants in Delhi are on the verge of closure.
Atishi said the Election Commission has sought a meeting today to complain about it. He said that as the elections are approaching, the BJP has come to the point of how disgusting the behaviour is. Drinking water coming to Delhi comes from Yamuna. The water in the three treatment plants comes out of the Wazirabad Barrage of the Yamuna. The BJP government of Haryana is liberalising all the pollution of the factory in Yamuna to disrupt Delhi’s water supply.

He said that this dirt is being released in Yamuna instead of DD8. This has led to the closure of treatment plants, which could also disrupt water supply in many areas. Water can also be cut in the NDMC area. As the elections are approaching, the level of ammonia in the Yamuna is also constantly increasing.
