At the same time, the Aam Aadmi Party has fielded 11 people. Aam Aadmi Party leaders are also surrounding the BJP on this. Almost all assembly constituencies in Delhi have voters from Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Jharkhand, but they are in a decisive position in 27 seats. Politics during the Chhath festival

BJP leaders had tried to corner the AAP by accusing it of banning Chhath celebrations in Yamuna and disorder at Chhath Ghat. Even after that, there was politics over adding and cutting the names of Purvanchalis in the voter list. BJP workers had hoped that more Purvanchal leaders would get tickets this time, but they were disappointed.

Last time BJP and JD(U) together gave 13 tickets

In the 2020 elections, the BJP had given tickets to the Purvanchal leader on 11 seats and its ally Janata Dal (United) on two seats. This time, the number has been reduced by half. The BJP has appointed Abhay Verma from Lakshmi Nagar, Kapil Mishra from Karwal Nagar, Bajrang Shukla from Kirari. Pankaj Kumar Singh and Chandan Kumar Chaudhary have been given tickets from Sangam Vihar.

Unauthorised colonies are a good number of Purvanchal voters

Janata Dal (United) has fielded Shailendra Kumar from Burari. Last time, the BJP had also given tickets to the Purvanchal leader in seats like New Delhi, Delhi Cantt, Deoli, Rithala, Seelampur and Badli.
