Congress Plan For Delhi Election: Congress, which is engaged in the process of opening an account in the Delhi Assembly Elections 2025 this time, has strategised to put its full strength into about a dozen seats in the final phase of the campaign. According to sources, the decision was taken in a meeting between Congress general secretary KC Venugopal and senior Delhi state Congress leaders on Friday.
The Congress has made a strategy of focussing on seats on which the party has a strong position, most of which are minority and Dalit-dominated seats. The Congress’ top priority seats are Okhla, Babarpur, Seelampur, Mustafabad, Matiya Mahal, Ballimaran, Seemapuri, Chandni Chowk, Kasturabnagar, Badli, New Delhi, Nangloi Jat, Chhatarpur and Patparganj.
From which seat gave ticket to which candidate
These include Okhla, Babarpur, Seelampur, Mustafabad, Matiyamahal, Ballimaran Muslim-dominated seats. Former minister Harun Yusuf is contesting from Ballimaran, the daughter of a former MLA and current councillor Ariba Khan. Similarly, Ali Mehndi, son of a former MLA from Mustafabad, is contesting the elections. Due to Owaisi’s party, the race for Muslim votes in Okhla and Mustafabad is triangular. Apart from this, the Congress has fielded sitting MLA Abdul Rahman from Seelampur. From Matia Mahal, the Congress has ticketed Asim Ahmed, who was a former minister in the Kejriwal government, and from Babarpur, Haji Ishrak, who was earlier an MLA from Seelampur.
Seemapuri is a Dalit-dominated seat from which Congress SC department national president Rajesh Lilothia is contesting. Apart from this, the party will give full strength to big Congress leaders like former MP Sandeep Dikshit from New Delhi, state president Devendra Yadav from Badli, national secretary Abhishek Dutt from Kasturba Nagar, former state president Anil Chaudhary from Patparganj, former state president from Chandni Chowk JP Agarwal’s son Mudit Agarwal, former national secretary Rohit Chaudhary from Nangloi.
Which seat is the Congress?

In such a situation, in the last phase of the election campaign, meetings and road shows of Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi and Kharge are planned to be held mostly in these seats.
