Election Commission did not give permission to Rahul Gandhi who wanted to climb the mountain of garbage

Delhi Election 2025 : Senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is also trying to climb a mountain of garbage, but he has not got permission from the Election Commission. Similarly, a documentary made by him on the filth of the Yamuna could not be screened in public. However, in the last two days of the election campaign, Rahul can do any activity in this direction.

It is noteworthy that solid waste management is also a very big issue in Delhi. Due to the fact that there is no smooth and well-organised channel, mountains of garbage are rising at the three landfill sites of Okhla, Ghazipur and Bhalswa. The ruling Aam Aadmi Party in Delhi and Municipal Corporation has also failed to find a solution to this problem. Some time ago, LG VK Saxena had started efforts in this context, but the AAP government had also stopped them.

Documentary on the status of Yamuna

According to Congress sources, Rahul Gandhi wants to make these mountains of garbage along with Yamuna a big weapon against the AAP government in the election campaign. The party wanted to display the document prepared by him on the condition of Yamuna. Sources said the party had sought permission from the Election Commission but was not granted.

In the next two days Bhalswa can go to the landfill site

According to party sources, Rahul has posted a documentary made on Yamuna on Jahan X. Also, he’s not sitting quietly about the mountain of garbage either. It is learnt that over the next two days, he may visit the Bhalswa landfill site, where a section of the garbage mountain recently collapsed and fell on a house. Party sources say that the Congress is not in the mood to give concessions to the Aam Aadmi Party on any front this time.
