Delhi election 2025: BJP Accuses AAP Government of Corruption and Yamuna Pollution

Delhi election 2025: The election atmosphere in Delhi is heated, and meanwhile the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has made serious allegations against the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government. BJP national spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia claimed during a press conference that the Kejriwal government has not only polluted the Yamuna in Delhi, but has also promoted corruption in the education sector.
Sting operation exposed
Gaurav Bhatia, citing a sting operation, said that in it Aam Aadmi Party MLA Sahiram Pehalwan and his secretary are allegedly seen taking bribe. The sting shows that the MLA’s secretary Gaurav Bhati is transacting money in the name of Sahiram Pehalwan. Not only this, the MLA himself is also heard saying ‘talk to this person’, which indicates that corruption was happening directly with his knowledge.
Allegations of corruption in the education sector
Gaurav Bhatia claimed that the sting operation has revealed that a big scam has been done in the name of teaching robotics to children in government schools of Delhi. For this project, an amount of Rs 1500 to Rs 2200 was being charged per student. There are about 20 lakh students in Delhi, from which it can be estimated that this scam can reach crores of rupees.
Corruption reaching big leaders?
Bhatia further alleged that this corruption is not limited to Sahiram Pehalwan only, but its strings can also be connected to senior leaders of Aam Aadmi Party. The sting operation also revealed that MLA Sahiram Pehalwan instructed his secretary to hold an important meeting in the Ministry of Education. In this, allegedly exchange of cash is also seen.
BJP demands – strict action should be taken
Gaurav Bhatia demanded an impartial investigation of this entire episode and said that the leaders of Aam Aadmi Party are silent on this. He said that the Delhi government should respond on the basis of the facts revealed in this sting operation and if the allegations are proved right, then strict action should be taken against the culprits.
This matter is becoming very serious amidst the election fervor in Delhi. BJP is raising this issue with full force, while there has been no concrete response from Aam Aadmi Party yet. Now it will be interesting to see whether any legal action is taken in this matter or it remains limited to only election allegations and counter-allegations.
