Delhi Election Commission Responds to Arvind Kejriwal’s Allegations – No Written Complaint Filed

Delhi Election 2025: The Delhi Election Commission today responded to Arvind Kejriwal’s letter in which he alleged that Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) workers were being intimidated.

Election Commission’s response

Delhi’s District Election Officer (DEO) responded that no written complaint has been lodged in this matter so far. The DEO clarified that the police have not received any formal complaint against BJP workers for threatening and harassing AAP workers in the New Delhi assembly constituency. However, he also said that whenever a written complaint comes, appropriate action is taken under the guidelines of the Election Commission.

The DEO also informed that necessary legal action has already been taken on the issues raised by Kejriwal. The Election Commission clarified that independent, expenditure and police observers have already been deployed in all the assembly constituencies, including New Delhi.
