Campaigning stopped 48 hours before voting

According to the office of the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) of Delhi, campaigning will have to close 48 hours before the scheduled time of the polling week. Therefore, the election campaign ended at 6 pm on Monday.

After this, political parties and candidates will not be able to hold any election meeting, rally, road show, padyatra etc. Campaigning through audio video will also not be possible. Without any fuss, candidates will be able to go door-to-door to mobilise support and reach out to voters to appeal for votes.

The election campaign was going on from January 20

Campaigning for the Delhi Assembly elections was going on since January 20. Since then, the candidates were busy campaigning from morning till evening.
