The rapid increase in demand of EVs in India attracts many overseas companies to launch their products in the country. Hence, we have seen varieties of new debuts and upgrades in the cars this year at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. So, let’s know about a new company’s India debut in details;

Vietnam’s EV manufacturer VinFast is planning to enter India to give a tough competition to existing companies of the Indian EV market like Mahindra, Tata, Hyundai and others.

According to the information, the company will start its journey in the market with VinfFast VF6 India launch.

VinFast VF6: Looks and Design

Currently, the company sells VF6 in the global market. In such a situation, the vehicle to be brought to India with some major changes.

In global variant we can see it have many features like its eyebrow shaped LED DRLs, LED projector headlights, LED tail light bars similar to the front LED DRLs, Led turn light indicators, flush door handles, 16.5 inch alloy wheels, 12.5 inch touchscreen infotainment system, OTA updates, shark fin antenna, panoramic sunroof, black and blue dual tone interior, cruise control as well as 9 airbags, lane centering assist, lane keep assist along with Level-2 ADAS.

What about its range and performance?

Well, The company can offer it with single and dual motors which will give it the 169 ps with 235 nm of torque.

It has a battery capacity of 59.7 kWh, Which can be driven up to 384 km (claimed range) after full charge.

Dimensions:

The length of VinFast VF6 will be 4235 mm, almost as big as the Hyundai Creta.

Price and Variants:

The company has just given information about which cars it is bringing during the India launch so, The exact price will be given at the time of its launch. But it’s possible that considering the features it can be priced around Rs 30-35 lakhs.

VF6 will come in two variants in the market which are Eco and Plus.
