Huge discount in income tax : Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Sunday said that the government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has always honoured fellow people. The big relief given to the people in income tax in the general budget presented on February 1 is their own contribution and they are playing an important role in building the country.
Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman had said in a recent interview that the tax cut move could fuel the recovery in the economy. And it is not related to the elections, during which he also sided with India over Donald Trump’s warning of putting traffic on BRICS countries, including India.
