Honda Launched Its First Budget Touring Bike For The Indian Market: Price, Features, And Mileage

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) introduced its new adventure motorcycle NX200. This bike is designed exclusively for those customers who look for a high-quality choice for adventure touring and daily utility.

Performance and Engine:

The NX200 is driven by a revised OBD2B-approved 184.5cc, single-cylinder, 4-stroke motor that delivers 12.5 kW of power at 8500 RPM and a maximum torque of 15.7 Nm at 6000 RPM. The engine is tuned with a 5-speed transmission. Engineered to handle city commutes as well as highway rides, this engine provides improved power delivery, fuel efficiency and riding experience on all types of terrains.

Design and Features:

The design of the all-new NX200 takes cues from Honda’s best-selling NX500 and has a tough look like Honda’s top adventure bikes. Styling-wise, the NX200 is unique with its muscular fuel tank, bold graphics and dominating stance. It has an all-LED headlamp, thin LED winkers and a cool X-shaped LED tail lamp making it a dominating force on the road.

The NX200 is equipped with top-of-the-line features to offer greater convenience and rider control. It comes with a 4.2-inch fully-digital TFT instrument display that has Bluetooth connectivity and supports the Honda RoadSync app. Navigation, call notifications and SMS alerts are made available to the riders. A new USB C-Type is added for convenient device charging on the move.

The bike has Honda’s Selectable Torque Control (HSTC), which provides maximum rear-wheel traction in different road conditions. It also has an assist and slipper clutch that allows smooth gear shifting and avoids rear-wheel locking when downshifting aggressively. For added safety, the motorcycle now comes with dual-channel ABS (Anti-lock Braking System) that provides accurate braking performance and increased rider confidence on every ride.

Variants and color options:

The NX200 comes in a single trim with three shades – Athletic Blue Metallic, Radiant Red Metallic and Pearl Igneous Black. The NX200 has been made available at all Honda’s dealerships nationwide.
