Weather of polling day: The weather will not disturb the people of Delhi during the voting on Wednesday on the great festival of democracy. There may be light and moderate fog in the morning, but it will clear up as the day progresses.

During the day, the clouds will move and the sun will also come out. There is no chance of rain. The maximum and minimum temperatures can be 25 and 10 degrees Celsius, respectively. That is, it will not be too cold or too hot.

Light rain in different areas

Meanwhile, light rain fell in various parts of the capital in the morning due to the influence of a western disturbance on Tuesday. 0.5 mm rain was recorded till 8.30 am. 0.4 mm drizzle was recorded on Lodhi Road, while drizzle was recorded in Ridge area and Ayanagar. The maximum temperature was 26.0 degrees above normal, 3.7 degrees above normal, while the minimum temperature was 12.8 degrees Celsius, which was 4.4 degrees higher than normal.

Delhi’s air quality in the bad category

According to the air quality bulletin issued by the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), Delhi recorded an AQI of 264 on Tuesday. It was 286 on Monday, the day before. That is, it has fallen 22 points in 24 hours. The air quality in the cities of NCR has also been recorded in the medium to poor category.

AQI 247 records in Delhi

As far as rain is concerned, Delhi received 0.5 mm rain till 8:30 am, while Lodhi Road received 0.4 mm rain. There was also a drizzle in the Ridge region and Aingar. As far as AQI is concerned, Delhi’s air quality is still in the poor category. An AQI of 247 was recorded at 10 am. It is placed in the bad category. There is no possibility of much change at the moment.
