Hyundai Creta EV Early Bookings Are Open: Price, Features Everything You Need To Know

South Korean car manufacturer Hyundai has finally lifted the curtains from the all new electric SUV Hyundai Creta EV after a long wait.

This electric SUV was being awaited for a long time and from the last few days the company was also releasing its teasers. But putting an end to the discussions, the company has shared the details along with its official pictures. The new Hyundai Creta Electric was launched for sale at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 from 17th Jan. So let’s know about the SUV in detail;

Battery and range:

New hyundai creta ev 2025Creta Electric is coming in two battery pack options. Which includes 42kWh and 51.5kWh battery. Both of these battery packs comes with ARAI claimed range of 385 km and 470 km respectively. Hyundai claims that Creta Electric LR(long range) can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.4 seconds.

The SUV can be charged from 10 to 80 percent in just 60 minutes with DC charging, while the 11 kWh AC wall box charger can charge from 0 to 100 percent in 3.5+ hours.

Interior and features:

New hyundai creta ev interiorsThe Creta Electric has a dual 10.25-inch screen setup which supports both Apple Carplay and Android Auto Wirelessly. Apart from this, the steering wheel is inspired by the Kona Electric which is available in the global market. However, It gets a steering column mounted drive mode selector, which we see in the Ioniq 5 along with this, it comes with 3 drive modes which includes Economy, City and Sport. It has a new floating center console design, a big panoramic sunroof, vehicle to load (V2L) technology, 360 degree camera, ADAS suite as well as Hyundai’s digital key feature.

Looks and Design:

Hyundai creta evIn terms of design, This new electric SUV is very similar to its ICE-powered (petrol-diesel) model. Most of the body panels have remained unchanged. Only new soft plastic parts are seen in it including new front and rear bumpers with pixel-like detailing. Apart from this, a traditional covered front grille like other electric cars is available. However, new air-optimized alloy wheels have been included in it. In fact, the front bumper is more reminiscent of the N Line variant. Its front side has a charging port.

In the market, it will compete against the cars like Maruti’s upcoming first electric car eVitara, Mahindra BE 6 and Tata Curvv EV.

Price and Variants:

Hyundai creta ev 2025Well, the company has not revealed its pricing yet. But, it is expected to come in between Rs 22 lakhs to 25 lakhs. However, The Creta Electric will be available for sale in 4 different variants which includes Executive, Smart, Premium and Excellence. This SUV is being offered with 8 monotone and 2 dual-tone color options, Which also includes 3 matte colors.

It is gonna be interesting to see that, what pricings the company offers for this new electric SUV and how it’ll continue the legacy of the brand name CRETA.
