India’s Most Luxurious 4-Wheeler Is All Set To Launch In India Soon: MG Mifa 9 Electric MPV

JSW MG Motor India has unveiled its next luxury limousine M9 EV. Along with this, the company has also revealed its new channel name is known as “MG Select”, This new branded caravan will be sold through this channel.

Battery and Performance:

MG Motor will offer the M9 Electric MPV with a larger 90 kWh battery pack. It promises a range of up to 497+ km on a single charge.

MG claims that the battery can be fully recharged from 5 percent in 9.2 hours using a 11 kW charger. It also supports DC fast charging through which it can recharge the battery from 30 percent to 80 percent in just 45 minutes. The electric motor in it generates 236 bhp of power. While the torque output is 346 nm. The top speed of the M9 EV is 180 kmph.

What’s Inside This New MG Limo?

Slide into its front row which features a minimalist dashboard with two separate screens for infotainment and drive-related information. Climate control and other functions are provided with touch buttons below the infotainment screen. Both the front seats feature ventilation and electronic adjustment. The floating center console has two cup holders, a wireless charger and under-arm storage.

The interior of this limo is extremely luxurious and comes with ottoman seats in the second row. These seats come with many features including heating, cooling and massage functionality. The EV gets three-zone climate control, which is controlled via a touchscreen panel on the handrail. The same screen can also be used to control the massage mode. There are also separate entertainment screens on the rear seats. To make the EV more spacious, MG Motor has added a dual-panel sunroof to it.

Exterior Design and Dimensions:

This caravan comes with the three-row, 7-seater capacity, measures 5,270 mm in length, 2,000 mm in width and 1,840 mm in height. It has a wheelbase of 3,200 mm, which provides good space for passengers and luggage.

In terms of exterior design, the MG M9 looks like a typical MPV. It comes with automatic sliding doors to access the second and third rows of the vehicle.

At the front, the EV features an LED light bar with turn signals, LED headlights with chrome outline and a closed trapezoidal grille. Talking about the side profile, this electric MPV gets 19-inch alloy wheels. At the rear, it comes with vertical LED taillights and a connected LED light bar.

However, With the launch of the M9 Limousine Electric MPV, MG Motor aims to continue the EV momentum gained in recent months through the success of the Windsor EV. The M9 Limousine Electric MPV will join the likes of the ZS EV and Comet EV in MG Motor’s EV portfolio in India.

In the market we can expect it to compete against the vehicles like Hyundai Ioniq 9, BYD Sealion 7 and Kia EV9 when launched.
