Instructions for confiscation of unlicensed weapons

The Election Commission has directed to seize weapons without a licence. A case should be registered against the persons taking or giving bribes and immediate action should be taken. If voters receive a complaint of cash, gifts, alcohol or free food distribution or threatening them and it is not possible for the concerned agency to arrive at the scene immediately, the local monitoring team and the police station should be informed immediately of the incident.

It is necessary to show the document in cash of 50 thousand rupees

A local surveillance team and a police team will be sent to the spot for necessary action. A person carrying Rs 50 thousand in cash will have to carry all relevant documents with him. If this is not done, the money can be forfeited. After the election campaign is over, candidates will not engage in any activity that would escalate disputes or create tension.

Appeals should not be made to incite caste or communal sentiments to get votes. Temples, mosques, churches or other places of worship should not be used as a platform for campaigning. Complaints received on the C-Vigil app have to be dealt with immediately.
