Kejriwal writes letter to Chief Election Commissioner because ‘AAP workers are being attacked’

Attacks on AAP workers : Two days are left for campaigning for the Delhi Assembly elections. Major political parties are accusing each other of using money power during campaigning. Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convener and former chief minister Arvind Kejriwal wrote a letter to the Chief Election Commissioner on Sunday.
In it, he has referred to the alleged attack on Aam Aadmi Party workers in the New Delhi Assembly constituency. The AAP convener has made four demands to the Election Commission in his letter.
Kejriwal put these demands in the letter
- An independent election observer should be appointed in the new assembly.
- The Election Commission should ensure the safety of Aam Aadmi Party volunteers.
- The policemen responsible for such incidents should be suspended immediately.
- The BJP workers who carried out the attack should be arrested immediately.
It is noteworthy that MLA from Rithala Assembly constituency and AAP candidate Mahendra Goel has accused him of assaulting and attacking him while campaigning. The Aam Aadmi Party has levelled serious allegations against BJP workers in this regard.
Fearing defeat, BJP is going to go to gangsters: You
AAP said that the BJP has entered into hooliganism due to fear of defeat. This is the reason why BJP people have attacked MLA and Aam Aadmi Party candidate Mahendra Goel. AAP convener Arvind Kejriwal and other party leaders, including Chief Minister Atishi, posted a video of the incident on Saturday.
Kejriwal wrote that the BJP, which was afraid of its defeat, has now come down to take the lives of AAP candidates. We strongly condemn this attack.
BJP suffers setback: Sisodia
The party says that if the people of Delhi are not voting for the BJP, will you now win the elections by killing the candidates? Isn’t the Election Commission looking at the hooliganism of the BJP?
Manish Sisodia wrote on X that the BJP, shocked by the defeat, is now ready to kill the AAP leaders. Chief Minister Atishi and Rajya Sabha member Sanjay Singh said that the BJP is carrying out deadly attacks on AAP leaders in terror over its defeat.
Vigilance agencies should be more vigilant for three days: Election Commission
Political parties and candidates are also using money power in election campaigning to win voters in the Delhi elections. This is the reason why goods worth Rs 194 crore including cash have been seized. The last three days before voting are crucial.
Candidates do not want to leave any stone unturned during this period. In view of this, a letter has been written to the CEO office directing the vigilance agencies to be more vigilant in the last three days before polling. To ensure fair and peaceful elections.
