Govt is taking favour of rich

The AAP supremo has demanded that PM Modi enact a nationwide law to stop the waiver of loans given to billionaires. Addressing a press conference on Tuesday, Kejriwal criticised the central government and alleged that the rich were being favoured by waiving corporate loans worth thousands of crores of rupees. He claimed that such practises impose a heavy tax burden on ordinary citizens while benefitting the wealthy.

Why are the loans of the common people not waived?

“Raising the question, Kejriwal said, “”Common people are paying half of their salary in taxes, while the loans of the rich are being waived.” Why does the central government not release the home loans, car loans or other financial burdens of the common people?

He emphasised that by stopping the loan waiver of billionaires, the government can halve the income tax and GST rates, double the tax income limit and abolish the GST on essential goods. “This is a huge scam and the time has come to end it,”” she said.”
