Kejriwal’s special advice to slum dwellers ‘Don’t fall into the trap, take money but don’t vote’,

Kejriwal’s special advice to slum dwellers: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convener Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday alleged that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is trying to mislead the slum dwellers by offering Rs 3,000 and promising to vote at home through the Election Commission.

Conspiracy to entrap

Kejriwal said, Today I have received a lot of calls from slums. Their (BJP) party is going door-to-door and telling people. Take Rs 3,000 and the Election Commission will provide the facility of voting at home. I was shocked when I heard this. It’s a conspiracy to catch you.”

“The Delhi Chief Minister warned people not to fall into this alleged trap, saying he would “”not be able to sleep”” after hearing about the matter.” Kejriwal said “I advise you not to fall into the trap. Otherwise, if you vote for them and get your finger ink, they will file a case against you and arrest you.

Don’t vote for BJP

Kejriwal urged people not to vote for the BJP but suggested that they accept any kind of money. “If they’re giving you money for free, take it, but don’t vote for them,”” he said.”

He also alleged that if the BJP comes to power, they will demolish the slums. Kejriwal said that if the BJP government comes even by mistake, they (BJP) will remove the slums. In Mumbai, he has given Dharavi – Asia’s largest slum – to a friend.

Kejriwal also wrote a letter

Kejriwal wrote a letter to the Chief Election Commissioner alleging that his party workers were being threatened in the New Delhi Assembly constituency and harassed by BJP workers in the New Delhi Assembly constituency.

I am writing to express my grave concern over the threat and harassment being posed by BJP workers and Delhi Police to our grassroots volunteers in the New Delhi Assembly constituency on election day, Kejriwal said in his letter.

Deployment of independent observers

Kejriwal also demanded independent observers to take strict action against BJP workers involved in violence to ensure fair elections, protect AAP workers from threats and harassment, accountability for misuse of police powers to prevent arbitrary detention and harassment and maintain law and order.

It is noteworthy that AAP is contesting from the Supreme New Delhi Assembly seat against Congress’ Sandeep Dikshit and BJP’s Parvesh Verma.
