First figure of voting : Voting for the Delhi Assembly Elections 2025 is going on from 7.00 am on Wednesday (February 5). Enthusiasm can be seen among the people of Delhi to form their new government. From seven o’clock, queues of voters were seen outside the polling stations. Two hours later, i.e. by 9.00 am, the first data of the voting percentage has come out. All 70 seats in Delhi averaged 8.10 per cent polling.
According to these data released by the Central Election Commission, this is the percentage of voting so far-

- New Delhi: 6.51
- North Delhi: 7.12
- North East Delhi: 10.70
- North West Delhi: 7.66
- Shahdara: 8.92
- South Delhi: 8.43
- South East Delhi: 8.36
- South West Delhi: 9.34
- West Delhi: 6.76
These voters have already cast their votes. For information, there are 1.56 crore voters in Delhi. Its include 83.76 lakh men, 72.36 lakh women and 1267 third gender voters. In-home voting was facilitated for senior citizens and differently abled voters, which was completed before polling day. During this period, 6980 out of 7553 eligible voters cast their votes.
The people of Delhi are voting to decide the fate of 699 candidates in 70 assembly seats. Today, the fate of all candidates will be locked in EVMs. The election results will be declared after the counting of votes on February 8. 13,766 polling stations have been set up in Delhi. These also include 70-70 polling stations run by women, differently-abled and youth. In addition, 733 polling stations have been scheduled for persons with disabilities.
Big leaders are constantly appealing for voting along with the Election Commission, BJP-Congress and Aam Aadmi Party leaders are constantly appealing to the public that eligible voters should come with their families and exercise their franchise. It is also the responsibility of the voters to make the slogan of ‘First vote first then freshness’ successful and fulfil their responsibility towards the democracy of the country.
