Last chance to apply for UPSC civil services exam, last date has come

UPSC 2025 Application Last Date: The process of filling the form for UPSC Civil Services Examination 2025 is underway. Applications for Civil Services Preliminary Examination (CSE) and Indian Forest Service (IFS) are being made on the official website of the Union Public Service Commission. Candidates who want to appear in the CSE exam should complete the process of filling the application form quickly. The last date for the application is February 11. The application fee will also be paid by the same day.

Appropriateness

Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in any subject from a recognised university to apply in the UPSC CSE Government Job Examination 2025. Candidates for IFS should have passed Bachelor’s degree or equivalent examination in Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology and Agriculture. Age limit

  • Age limit- The minimum age of the candidates should be 21 years and the maximum age should be 32 years to fill the form for the post of UPSC IAS/IFS. The age of the candidates will be calculated as on 1st August 2025. Also, reserved classes will get relaxation in the upper age.
  • Application fee- General/OBC/EWS category candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs 100 to fill the application form. For SC/ST/PH and female candidates there is no fee.
  • Selection Process- Candidates are selected through Preliminary Examination, Main Examination and Interview Process.
  • IAS, IFS Preliminary Exam Date- 25 May 2025 (Stabled Date)

How to apply

For the UPSC form, candidates will need documents like active mobile number, active email address, graduation degree certificate, passport size photo, signature, valid photo ID proof etc. The UPSC application form can be filled in four stages till February 11. OTR profile in Part-I, Application Form in Part-II, DAF in Part-III and Application Fee, Photo and Examination Centre in Part-IV have to be selected.

  • To apply, candidates first have to visit the official website
  • After this, click on Apply Online.
  • Fill in all the details requested carefully after opening the registration link.
  • Login to fill the application form after completing the registration process.
  • Fill in your photo ID details, number of attempts, graduation marks and preliminary examination centre details.
  • Upload all documents in the correct size.
  • Photo, signature and photo ID have to be uploaded in JPG format between 20KB to 300KB.
  • Submit the form in the final announcement box.
  • Now fill the DAF-Detailed application form in Part 3. Fill in the service preference and other requested information.
  • Pay the application fee in part-4 and upload other documents including photo.
  • Finally, take the final print out of the form.
