Mahindra Thar’s popularity is of a different level in India. And considering the rapidly increasing demand of EVs In the market, the manufacturer is also preparing to bring Thar’s electric variant for the consumers.
This SUV was unveiled for the first time at the FutureScape event which was held in South Africa (Cape Town). The SUV is expected to be launched in India in the coming years. It is said that this electric Thar will be positioned above the current 3-door Thar and below the top end variant of 5-door Thar. So, Let’s know about this Thar electric in details;
Range and Battery Pack:
Information about the Mahindra Thar.e’s battery pack has not been given. But it is expected that a bigger battery pack will be provided in it which will be capable of giving a range of up to 469 km on a single charge.
How will the design be?
Many pictures of the design of Mahindra Thar have surfaced on the internet, which gives a glimpse of the SUV will retain the voluminous elements. Apart from the square-shaped LED daytime running lights(DRLs), the front fascia has Thar.E written on the grille and triple horizontal LED light slats. Alloy wheels will be seen in it. However, Many additional features will also be included in it. The manufacturer will make every possible effort to give it a premium futuristic design.
Slide into its interior:
Here, it will get a large touchscreen infotainment system with connectivity options and an all-digital instrument console. Apart from this, it will get a two-spoke steering wheel which is similar to the concept.
However, it is not announced yet by the company officially whether the Thar.E would just be a concept or will launch for sale.
