Maruti’s Master Move Upgrading Swift To Hybrid: Mileage 40 kmpl+, Price Will Shock You!

According to reports, Maruti Suzuki is currently planning the hybrid model of its Swift car. Recently, Maruti launched its 4th generation Swift for the Indian market which is being liked by the consumers.

Then Why Suzuki Hybrid?

Well, Through the Hybrid variant, the company’s focus is more mileage centric.

Engine and Mileage:

The 4th generation of the current Maruti Suzuki Swift gets a 1.2-liter 3-cylinder Z-series petrol engine. Now, a semi-hybrid version can be introduced in the new Swift. Hence, the mileage of car is sure to increase.

The new Swift Hybrid can be offered with a bigger battery pack due to which its mileage can go up to about 35 kmpl. Before India, Suzuki was selling the hybrid model of this car in the global markets. The new Swift can be offered in India with some minor changes just like its global variant.

Interior and Features:

The car comes with features like a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system which can support both Apple Carplay and Android Auto, steering mounted control, wireless phone charger and push button start stop, slightly large cabin space and rear AC vents.

What about safety?

So, According to the new norms issued by the Government of India recently, it is mandatory for all the cars to give minimum 6 airbags and basic safety features as standard. Due to this we see a major upgrade in safety features in the recently launched Maruti Brezza 2025.

In this upcoming new Swift we can see features like 6 airbags, 3 point seat belts, hill hold control, ESC and anti-lock braking system with EBD.
