New Aprilia Tuareg 660 Wons The Award: Price, Mileage and Features Will Shock You

Aprilia, The Italian two-wheeler manufacturer company has launched its middleweight adventure(ADV) bike Tuareg 660 Rally at the EICMA 2024. Where this newly introduced bike has won the 2024 Africa Eco Race title, which was the performance-oriented competition of the bikes held by the Government of Africa.

The Tuareg 660 Rally has been permitted to run on the road as it is the road-legal version now. However, It gets the same vibe as the competition avatar. Bike’s overall weight is almost 199 kg and It is 5 kg less heavier as compared to the standard model.

It’s Vroom Vroom Time:

The Tuareg 660 Rally road-legal version uses the same powertrain as the standard unit. The 659cc parallel-twin engine generates a maximum power of 7 bhp at 9,145 RPM. The unit is tuned with a 6-speed gearbox with a slip-and-assist clutch.

Changes in Features:

The company has carried forward some notable elements in this new bike, making it offer a similar feel to the completion model. It features a rally-derived suspension, a rugged style statement, a similar design skid plate, a massive size transparent visor at the front, a lifted front fender, an enduro-style lower chain guide, and a lightweight titanium exhaust.

The all-terrain tyres are also there to make it capable of conquering every road in every season, while narrower wire-spoke rims have been given to enhance an overall presence of the bike. Whereas, The seating position is 20 mm which is higher compared to the standard.

What about the rider’s safety?

Well, When it comes to safety, the bike gets dual disc brakes at the front, while the rear section is treated with a single disc.

Hence, the bike is only showcased in Africa and currently made only for the global market. Aprilia India has not officially revealed anything about this new Tuareg 660 bike yet.
