Tata Motors has introduced the Tata Sierra at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. This new SUV is based on the 1990’s popular SUV Tata Sierra. Now the company has made it futuristic and feature-loaded to include it in the current lineup with new design and features. So, let’s know about this new car in detail;
Tata Sierra Exterior, Looks and Design:
Talking about the design of the Tata Sierra ICE, it looks similar to the Sierra EV showcased earlier, but being an ICE model, it is also quite different. It differentiates itself with the memory of the old Sierra. Also, this SUV includes styling similar to other Tata models. The front of the Sierra is quite straightforward, it has a wide LED light bar and a grille that looks similar to other Tata Motors cars. It has sleek headlights and front bumper with black and silver treatment. On the side, there are signature design elements of the old Sierra model, rectangular side windows. It also has flush door handles and dual tone alloy wheels.
Tata Sierra Engine & Power:
Tata Sierra is likely to be powered by a 1.5-liter 4-cylinder turbo petrol engine that generates 169 PS and 284 nm of torque. Another 2-liter 4-cylinder diesel engine can also be found that generates 175 PS and 351 nm of torque which currently comes in Harrier and Safari. Transmission options can include 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic transmission.
Tata Sierra Expected Features:
The Tata Sierra concept has been revealed to have three 12.3-inch screens supporting Apple Carplay and Android auto wirelessly, a premium Harman Kardon surround sound system, a big panoramic moonlight sunroof, wireless phone charger and ventilated front seats.
What about Safety?
Well, as we all know that Tata made its brand name only because of the safety level this company provides and I don’t think in the market any other company matches the level of safety that we see in the cars of Tata in recent days.
However, Due to the new norms issued by the Government of India recently, it is mandatory for all the car manufacturers to give minimum 6 airbags and basic safety features as standard. So, from a safety point of view Tata will not gonna compromise.
