Nissan Patrol 8th Gen India Launch Expected By 2026

Previous year Nissan Patrol had made its global debut. The 7th Generation Patrol was introduced in Abu Dhabi. Nissan Patrol is very popular on social media for its great modifications and stunts. This is also the favorite car of famous Bollywood star Salman Khan.

There are some changes in this car which makes it more relevant to modern times. Nissan has said that the Patrol will also be sold as the Armada in North American markets.

Design:

The updated Patrol looks as boxy as ever. It gets a number of design updates including new LED DRLs and a newly designed black front grille. The roof is also black and gets roof rails. At the rear, the rear bumper gets connected-type LED tail-lamps above large split-skid plates.

Features and Specifications:

The new patrol is equipped with all the modern technology. This includes air suspension, electronic switches for gear shift, 12-speaker clip-in setup, two 14.3-inch displays in the centre console and two 12.8-inch displays in the second row for passenger entertainment.

There is a panoramic sunroof running the length of the car and a 64-colour ambient light setup enhances the interior. Features like adaptive driving beam, 360-degree camera and adaptive cruise control are also part of the feature list of the Nissan Patrol.

Engine and Transmission:

The updated Nissan Patrol has a new 3.5-litre V6 twin turbo engine. This powertrain produces 418 bhp of power and an impressive 669 Nm of torque. Nissan claims that it is more efficient and powerful than the old engine.

There is also the option of a 3.8-litre V6 engine that produces 313 bhp and 384 nm of torque. These are tuned to a 9-speed automatic transmission. Nissan is also offering a 4WD transfer mode interlock system for the first time in its SUV.
