Our Agriculture Minister, Shivraj Singh Chauhan ji has recently told that the money will reach the bank accounts of the farmers by the end of February 2025. What is this scheme and why is it important?
You already know that under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, the government gives a help of 6 thousand rupees every year to small farmers. This money is received in three installments, each installment is of 2 thousand rupees. The purpose of this scheme is that our small farmers get some help in farming.
But yes, to take advantage of this scheme, one important thing has to be done – e-KYC. Why is this e-KYC necessary? So that the government’s money reaches the right farmer and there is no confusion. If you have not done e-KYC, then you may not get the 19th installment. Therefore, get e-KYC done quickly!
How to do e-KYC? Three easy ways!
The government has told three easy ways to do e-KYC, so that you do not have any problem:
OTP-based e-KYC: This is the easiest! You can do e-KYC through OTP by visiting the PM Kisan portal or downloading the mobile app.
Face Authentication e-KYC: If you have a mobile app, then you can do e-KYC by showing your face from home. This is also very easy!
Biometric e-KYC: If you are having trouble doing it online, then you can go to your nearest Common Service Center (CSC) or State Seva Kendra and get e-KYC done there in a biometric way.
When will the 19th installment come?
As told by the Agriculture Minister, the 19th installment will come to your account on 24 February 2025. On that day the Prime Minister will be in Bihar and will transfer this money from there.
How to check your name in the beneficiary list?
The government also releases the list of beneficiaries, so that you can see whether you will get money this time or not. The way to check the name in the list is:
First of all go to the website of PM Kisan Yojana: https://pmkisan.gov.in/
Find the option of “Beneficiary Status” on the website and click on it.
Enter your Aadhaar number or bank account number there.
Click on “Get Data”.
Now you will see all your information on the screen. This will let you know whether you will get the benefit of the scheme or not.
If your name is not in the list, then quickly go to the government office and complain.
