What is PM Kisan Yojana?
Even today in our country, farming is the basis of life of many people. The government knows that many farmer brothers and sisters are financially weak and need help. This will benefit more than 13 crore farmers of the country!
Which farmers will get the money?
The government has made some important rules to give the benefit of PM Kisan Yojana. The government had told all the farmers that they must get e-KYC done. Only those farmers who have completed this work will get the next installment. Along with this, the government has also made land verification mandatory.
Why is eKYC necessary?
The government is making eKYC mandatory so that the financial assistance given to the farmers reaches them directly, without any disturbance. This will also ensure that only the right farmers are getting the benefit and no one is taking advantage of the scheme in an incorrect manner.
Who will be deprived of the 19th installment?
Some people were also taking advantage of the Kisan Yojana by showing wrong documents. Therefore, the government has made eKYC mandatory. The farmers who were taking advantage in an incorrect manner will not be able to get their eKYC done, and they will not get the 19th installment. Apart from this, the money of those who have not yet done land verification can also be stopped.
How to do e-KYC?
It is very easy for farmers to do e-KYC. You can do this in three ways:
OTP-based e-KYC: Visit the PM-Kisan portal on your mobile or computer or download the mobile app and do e-KYC through OTP.
Biometric-based e-KYC: Visit your nearest Common Service Center (CSC) or State Service Center (SSK) and get e-KYC done through biometric method.
Face Authentication-based e-KYC: With the PM-Kisan mobile app, you can also do e-KYC through facial recognition.
How to register in PM Kisan Yojana?
If you are new to PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana and want to register, then these are the ways:
Online Registration: Register online by visiting the official website of PM Kisan pmkisan.gov.in.
CSC Center: Go to the Common Service Center (CSC) near you and get registered.
Government Officer: Meet the nodal officers of the state government.
Local Patwari: Seek help from the Patwari or Revenue Officer of your area.
By when should you apply?
There is no last date to apply in PM Kisan Yojana. You can apply anytime. But, if you want to get the 19th installment on time, then complete the e-KYC and land verification work as soon as possible and apply.
To apply, you will need Aadhaar card, bank account details, land papers and registered mobile number.
How to register online:
First of all go to PM Kisan’s website pmkisan.gov.in.
Click on “New Farmer Registration”.
A new page will open, fill in your information like name, mobile number, state.
Enter the captcha code and click on “Send OTP”.
Enter the OTP and click on “Submit”.
Start registration by clicking on “Yes”.
Fill the registration form with Aadhaar number, mobile number, address, bank details and land information.
Scan and upload the required documents like land papers, Aadhaar card, bank passbook.
Finally click on “Submit”.
Your registration will be done! After applying, you can check your status from the “Beneficiary Status” option. After the registration is complete, you will start receiving installments.
How to check beneficiary status?
To check your beneficiary status:
Visit PM Kisan website pmkisan.gov.in.
Click on “Beneficiary Status” in “Farmers Corner”.
Enter your Aadhaar number or account number.
Now you can see your payment history and eligibility.
