Common citizens: Can get interest ranging from 3.50% to 6.50% for a period of 7 days to 10 years.
Senior citizens: Can get interest ranging from 4.00% to 7.50% for a period of 7 days to 10 years.

How much money can be deposited in FD?
In SBI FD scheme, you can start investing with a minimum of Rs 1000. And the maximum amount? There is no limit! Invest as much as you want. And the interest? It will keep getting added to your account every 6 months.
How much will you get if you deposit Rs 4 lakh in a 5-year FD?
Suppose, if a common man deposits Rs 4 lakh in SBI FD for 5 years, then at the rate of 6.50% annual interest, he will get Rs 1,52,168 in 5 years only as interest.
