Skoda Elroq Electrifying the SUV Segment in 2025

Elroq has been introduced as the first electric vehicle by the Czech Republic’s vehicle manufacturer Skoda. Previous year in 2024 this sub compact SUV made its global debut and in this year jan 2025 it was showcased in Bharat Mobility Global Expo in India. So, what are you waiting for? Power and Performance:

The company has provided three battery pack options in it. In which the gross battery capacity is 50, 60 and 85 kWh. It takes 18 minutes to charge a 52kWh battery from 10 to 80 percent using a fast charger, 23 minutes to charge a 60kWh battery and 28 minutes to charge a 85kWh battery.

These give a power output of 128 kWh, 169 kWh and 218 kWh. The top speed of the 50 and 60 KWh variants is up to 169 kmph and the top speed of the 85kWh battery variant is up to 183 kmph. It takes 12 seconds, 8.7 seconds and 6.4 seconds to reach a speed of 0-100 kmph. The SUV gets a WLTP range of 369 to 584 kilometres on a single charge.

Features and Specifications:

The company has offered many things in its first electric SUV along with the Skoda’s badging. The badging has been given in dark chrome finish which is inserted on the front bumper.

It has features like LED matrix headlights, door molding, 21 inch alloy wheels, C-shaped rear LED lights, rear spoiler, shark fin antenna, 13 inch touchscreen infotainment system which supports both Apple Carplay and Android auto wirelessly, dual tone interior, Skoda’s multifunction steering wheel, phone box for phone wireless charging, AI support with digital voice assistant, intelligent park assist, nine airbags, adaptive cruise control, traffic jam assist, PACC, ABS, EBD.

Design and Dimensions:

The total length of the SUV is 4488 mm, width 1884 mm, height 1625 mm, wheelbase is 2765 mm and ground clearance is 186 mm.

So, How Much Does This New Skoda EV Cost?

Although, The company has showcased this new Skoda’s Suv in an expo, It is not confirmed yet at what price they will offer this car but considering what this car offers, it is expected to be priced around Rs 40-45 lakhs as an introductory price.
